MUSLIM WOMEN IN ORGANIZATIONS aims to present to the readers sketches of home and work reclines faced by Muslim women in Malaysia. The book interlaces issues pertaining to careers and achievement, problems, roles and responsibilities, time management and others. Much of the contents of the compilation of thirteen articles is based on interviews. The book may be useful to both men and women, although students in women’s studies may find the book particularly relevant. Female students in higher learning institutions should not miss going through the contents before they leave the ivory tower. A related work of interest is a translation by the editor entitled Beauty and The Modern Women Some -Reflections (by Nismot Sidqi, Published by Devon Pustaka FOS, Kuala Lumpur (1 990). YUSOF ISMAIL (EDITOR) is on the Faculty of Economics and Management, International Islamic University, Malaysia. He teaches Management and is active in translating Islamic books into the Malay language. At the time of publication of this book, the editor is undertaking research at the Management centre, University of Bradford, United Kingdom.4
