About the author: ” George J. Hoynacki, Associate Professor Emeritus of Religious Studies at Merrimack College, Massachusetts, earned his degrees from Marquette University (B.A.), Harvard University (M. Ed.) and the University of Minnesota (Ph.D). Further religious studies and oriental languages were pursued in India as a Fulbright Scholar, in Taiwan and. in Pakistan. He has contributed numerous artliglles to academic journals and encyclopaedias onor’ienta_l religious topics, prepared a book on the life of Jesus, land presently is preparing a book Qn the nature of God as seen throughout the religious world.
