HE AUTHOR Dr. Thameem Ushama is an Assistant Professor in the department ol‘ Isla mic Revealed knowledge and Heritage at the International lslii mic University, Malaysia. Born in Tamil Nadu, India, the author obtained B.Sc (Chemistry) and M.A (Arabic) from University of Madras. The author received M.Phil and Ph.D in contempoi’ary Islamic Thought from Aligarh Muslim University, India. Ile also studied in Islamic University oflmam Muhammad ibn Soud. Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for three years. He has tapght se§:ral courses in various disciplines like ‘ U l min al- Qur’an., ‘Ulum al-Hadith, al-Dan/‘ah al Islamiyyah, Sirah, Contemporary Islamic Thought, Modern And Contemporary Ideologies and Islamic Civilization.
