ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Dr. Sayed Sikandar Shah Haneef was born in Afghanistan in 1959. He
received his primary and secondary education in Kabul. Then he
entered into the faculty of medicine in Kabul. Upon Russian occupation
of Afghanistan in 1979. he left the university. He graduated with
honours degree from the Law Faculty at International Islamic
University Malaysia in 1991. From the same University, he was
awarded Master degree in Comparative Law and PhD in Islamic Law.
Currently. he is serving as an Assistant Professor of Fiqh at the same
University. He has been active in Islamic movement since his school
days. Likewise he has been active intellectually in writing
reputable International Journals. He is also the author of a
