HE is an essential mechanism of socio-economic development and has been instrumental in individual and societal changes as well as their well-being. Around the globe, HLIs produce workforce, conduct breakthrough research, produce innovation, and contribute to community development. Over time, various landscape or structure of HE has emerged in tandem with various changes in social, technological and human lifestyles, making it a diverse service sector.
