About Sameh Strauch
Sameh Strauch was:born ih Liverpool, U.K. It was while working as a nurse in Saudi Arabia that he first encountered Islam. Arriving for
the first time in the Kingdom in the month of Ramadan, he was
impressed by the sight of people fasting, praying, and reading the
Qur’an. He returned to London and declared his allegiance to
Islam. From 1985 until 1989 he studied in Madinah Islamic
University and then began teaching Islamic theology.
In addition to his teaching duties, Sameh is a well known writter,
specializing in translations of the works of the early Islamic
scholars, such as At-Tabari, Ibn Katheer and Imam Ahmad ibn
Hanbal. His published works include:
Kitab at-Tawheed — Explained, Tafseer Juz’ ‘Amma taken from
Tafseer Ibn Katheer, Tafseer Soorat al-Fatihah and several others.
